sisterly

23 months apart.  sometimes we've been called twins.  (okay, i still think those that say we look like twins have a visual handicap of sorts.)  truth is, i'm not sure two females could have more different personalities.  but here we are-- sisters.  we often called it "stuck" together as sisters-- but as life goes on my attitude has definitely changed to feeling honored to call this girl as my sister.  for fun, here are a few things kara & i learned together:

you are not the boss of me.

boogers are scrumptious.

lizard tails make a delightful sound when they pop off.

long car trips are for yell-singing.

the best form of exercise is late-night hopping on beds.

nail biting is a tough habit to kick.


trees are for climbing...but climbing should be left to those who can also get themselves back down.

books transport you to other worlds.  and can be read at all hours of the night.

 iguanas are a hoot to chase.

no matter how dysfunctional a relationship can get, God can make all things new.  so thankful for you, kara, & all that God has done in each of us.  you are one of the dearest people in my life.  love you.
